Any idea my DP friends? United States will be better with Obama as President or the world and USA will be a better place to live with McCain as president.
Please convey your views. Hardly few days left for presidential election.

I think both may do well, I'm afraid that both may overreach on more regulation and I'm afraid that Obama because of his lack of experience will make some major mistakes.

It'll be interesting to see if Americans elect Obama. From what I gather, racism is still quite a serious problem over there.

As to the question . . . Who knows? I don't know a thing about either of them, so I can't say. All I know is, that McCain character picked an idiotic creationist to be Vice President. If he wins and dies in office, the world's DOOMED!

Exactly right, and that was McCain's first bad decision. The race was going against him previously, so as a desperate tactic he picked Palin simply in hopes to gain the female vote. After she opened her mouth, that didn't work lol.

As for racism in the US, we do have a lot of it but thankfully more of us are not racist. Obama is far ahead and will most likely win, however he would be far far ahead if it were not for the racist vote.

yeah and we're all fat and eat hamburgers too..

righttt, the fact that she's a creationist will put the world in immediate catastrophe, it's not like we're on the brink of an economic meltdown or anything. Do everyone a favor and stay in London.

McCain is far better for our country when it comes to social and energy issues. Obama and McCain are about the same when it comes to economics (with different opinions on how to improve our economy).

I think that our economic system needs changing. I think both have good sides in their economic plans. Obama favors higher taxes and keeping spending the same. McCain, from what I see, leans towards keeping the taxes low (or even lowering them further) and limiting the spending. I think both could work, but right now we're spending too much and don't have enough income to justify the spending habits we have. Something has to give.

The key here is to leave taxes alone for now, and stop the spending. Reduce the spending, then reform the tax code, make it fair so that everyone pays the exact same percentage of their earned income, no deductions.

I did not know what to expect honestly. I just read the statements, and then clicked on the one I agreed with. In retrospect I guess I kinda half expect there to be some catch, some odd irony, but ultimately I ended up with all my checks in the right column.

I would have expected some to be on both sides, I would image, again in retrospect. However, as it appears, this test is probably more reliable than I thought.

Let me clarify that. What I am saying is, if you had a set of statements to choose from like this without knowing who said them, would you always side one way or the other, or just choose the statement that make the most sense to you?

I found each statement side by side to not be dissimilar at times. I just chose the one that made the most sense for me. Again, in doing so, I would have expected at least a few items to be in the left column.

McCain doesn't even know how to use a computer. That basically sums up everything you need to know.

We live in the technology ages. Not the 13th century.

I'm blown away by some of the ignorant things said here at times. McCain cannot use a computer because he has limited mobility in his fingers and hands due to his war injuries serving our country and protecting yours in the process.

    That was really uncalled for.:D

Hahah yeah that's about as uncalled for as people who think Obama is a Muslim or Arab. Or question his citizenship or patriotism. :D

Actually the only limited mobility he has is he can't lift ONE of his ARMS above his ahead.
