Does this Blogger Lies about His Stat?

This blog is www.carlocab.com, a pretty young blogger who has gained popularity.

I noticed his subscribers keep increasing. Now is 10,100. But the problem is the feed subscribers count wasn't actually a Java script that gives live update. If I'm not mistaken, the subscribers number were actually key in manually.

If I'm wrong, please correct me.

I think he is not lying, and he does not need to. I am not sure about the Java script, but what I am sure is that this kid is a wizard. That not we are both Filipinos, but because he is really damn good. He made a loud noise when he was just starting some 2 years ago, when he was just 13 then.

    Meanna Blog,
    I agree with you.

    GuardianAngel,
Popular is one thing but ethic is also important. He has long lost his no.1 ranking for the keyword 'make money money' in Google, but still on the top left of his blog, he wrote:

I'm no.1 in Google for the keyword 'make money money'. Gurus are craving for this rank because of the laser targeted traffic, and I'm having a big sale of advertising starting from $55.

This is much like misleading the advertisers to get more sales.

Now the subscriber stat is in question. It is not a javascript showing live update. I think the subscribers number was updated manually.

And I read his content and compare to problogger.net and dailyblogtips.com and other blogs with related niches, it wasn't actually as you described 'really damn good'.
