Based on my own experience I do not submit on search engines. It would be better to submit to Other linkbuilding campaign that gives you live links, like Directories,Sb, articles submission sites and more.:)

    Well,
It wont do any thing to Google for sure, but some old and useless search engines may need it.

Besides, that will never harm else every competitor would harm his rival :)

Actually no need to submit site for famous SE like google , yahoo and MSN . IF u submit to others, if u r in #1 position will gain only little traffic. Submitting is not harm but no need to waste time for it

Search engine submissions do work in quality back links and a structure that points directly to your websites.

also a great way especially if you have a brand-new website on the web and looking to get some ranking.

As far as a brand-new website is concern submitting your website to the thousands of search engines out there could greatly increase or in the hands your chances of being more visible meaning getting more traffic viewers to your website.

This is also a great service for basic traffic high-traffic or smaller traffic...

To make sure that you getting the correct amount of traffic and search engine submission services is actually a great way to help the search engines find your products and services via Web Internet. It seems that world submit will optimize and submit your website to hundreds of search engines and directories throughout the world.

This should help render more traffic and unleashed the full potential of some awesome power that should help display your links and banners over different search engines including Yahoo and MSN and all the other search engines.

comes up for this great search engine submission services is done a great job as far as a world submitter is concerned I give this two thumbs up great service..... will be using world submit to enhance my search engine traffic from my brand-new website that be hitting the web hard increasing traffic within the first 30 days of my brand-new website being on the web.

You need to add new incoming links to your blog or website to get listed fast! Try submitting your website to good free topical directories or check out the free semi auto directory submitter found at http://www.directorysubmitter.imwishlist.com then think about linking in moderation to other highly ranked blogs in your same niche to get trackbacks! FORGET search engine submission as the search engines will find you through inbound links!

There have always been 100's if not 1,000's of "search engines" out there. There are only 3 or 4 that matter. That is why the post was deleted.

Absolutely! I agree. There are only 3-4 that matter. Once your site or blog is listed in them, the others will start to find you through those 3-4 as well as through getting your URL backlinked on other sites.

I don't submit my site to those 3-4 either. I let them find me via my RSS feeds, crawling my URL in forums and from backlinks on blog comments.

There are other ways to get your URL found but those are the easiest, IMO.

One more thing: Try to get your backlinks from BIG sites that Google crawls regularly and make sure it's a DoFollow link. ;)
