Note the word "punished"... Who would use language like that? A liberal of course. "Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old," he said. "I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby. I don't want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn't make sense to not give them information." From Politio @ http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0308/Stop_these_abortions_.html
No, its better to liberalize your kid at 9 years old so she's humpin and pumpin by 13 and pregnant at 16. Thats much better. Than she can make her contribution to the further degredation of our society by destroying all of the potential of that little thing you call a mass of cells.. otherwise known as life. Yea.. Thats a good thing.
Where does McCain stand on abortion? Do you even know? Did you know that McCain and Palin have different views?
this is silly. Anybody that is well intentioned and minimally meets basic intelligence understands that he is meaning that the punishment is the fact of getting pregnant, not the baby itself. In any case, this has been discussed at length already: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=911131
Yep it's more of the same. Let's not actually talk about our own candidate. Just try and make the other candidate seem like a bad choice so we can win by default. Way to show confidence in the person you're voting for!
oh noes, shock horror... you said babies are "a bad thing". Who would say something like that! See my point?
The far right is anti-abortion yet they don't care how many people die in wars to further their agenda.
Absolutely.. Its an ideological thing. Just trying to stop the bleeding... On the other hand... A win by your boy (maybe his yours, maybe not, I dont care) will let this country get some of this liberalism out of its system. This will certainly expose how radical the left really is (fascist). It wont take long for the level headed center to figure this out. Hey, we can get this right wing back lash started.. It been a long time coming.
ROFLLOLBARF It is extremely ironic that you used the word fascist because I was JUST thinking the same thing about the right. Except my thoughts are more in line with what fascism is, where as yours... well.... I'd suggest you understand the word before you try to use it For example, evangelical Christianity is nothing short of a mini fascist nation hidden within a democracy.
Classic liberal clap trap.. "they don't care" "further their agenda" Sooner or later these lies are going to lose their effectivness.. like today. A constant barrage of unchecked asssertions. You dont know what people care about. Agenda? You mean some kind of white mans consiracy right?
Nope. I mean this war that we are in is about 2 religious ideologies. The radical Muslims hate us because they want everyone to succumb to their way. Far right/evangelical Christians are for this war because they hate Muslims and anyone that is against Christianity, This war has been going on since the dawn of history. Apparently you didn't know that.... The rest of us who think both of your religions are nonsense are caught in the middle.
The first sensible thing you have said. Welcome to the real world. Now you can spend the rest of your days in angst about how it conflicts with your utopian "notion of how things should be". But this is where you yeild to fascism. Is'nt what you really need to do is shut these people down some how? Alienate them? Re-educate them? Brainwash them? Of course... is'nt that what the "christians" do?
I almost missed it.. Another lie is implied. "The far right is anti-abortion " You have conviced yourself that no one in the democratic party is "anti-abortion "? Ahhh. So you think you have successfully hijacked the party.
Nope, wrong again Sorry but no fascism here. Only that annoying live and let live banter from your friendly neighborhood liberal Christians and Muslims can believe in a magical sky daddy all they want. Geez I even bolded radical and evangelical for you and you still missed it. So long as they don't try to kill me or anyone I love for not succumbing to them (radical Muslim) or impose their beliefs on me (evangelical Christian) or my family or try to teach my kids in school that a magical being we've never seen and never will see created everything. Basically so long as they don't try to pass any laws in my country that tells me I can o can't do something because their book of fantastical stories says so, they can worship all they want to in peace. And I STRONGLY support their right to do so.
The Democratic party has been around since before I was born. It has been pro-choice since before I knew what pro-choice was. Your argument looks intentionally silly and baseless. It looks like you're running out of things to say.
In my personal opinion, Obama is far from even the middle ground when it comes to abortion even for his own party. He is far left on a good portion of social issues. This is of no surprise but it shouldn't be ignored either when you are choosing a candidate.
Kids who have babies overall punishes the baby, the young parents and society as a whole. Sometimes it turns out well but usually not. Teenagers are much less likely to be good parents or to have the resources to take care of a baby properly. Having a baby during your teens also makes it harder to do things that would lead you to bettering yourself, like school or training or whatever is entailed in getting a career together. If you poll prisoners you'd probably be pretty unlikely to hear that their mothers spent most of their young lives building their career on through the majority of their 20s. You'd be much more likely to hear stories about their mothers getting pregnant as teenagers and struggling from there on, often having even more kids, those kids often being subsidized by tax payers. This is where a lot of our criminals come from. Society pays for them when they are children and then pays their way through the legal and penal system when they are adults.
