I have same question as well... Most of the time I will get answer that check it with site:your-domain.com But with this we only get that our site is crawled (indexed) or not... One of my website now not shone in first 10 pages on its domain name as well... but it is still indexed as it come wit site: parameter.... What you say?.... Thanks http://www.7-continentstravel.co.uk/links/
Does the site comes in search results in google? Search for site:site.com and see if any pages are indexed in google. Normally, people say that a site is banned if none of its pages are indexed in google and it do not appear in SERPs. I think the best way to find out is to go to google webmaster tools and ask this question there. Some google expert will surely help and tell if a site is banned and they will also tell the reason of ban too.
by entering it's url (with http://) into search box. If there is an history and main url is missed it's banned.
once that happened with me.My site always used to have organic Google traffic. One day traffic was exact zero from 500 uniques. Thats the time i realized i was banned. Also when the u type ur domain url in Google and if it doesn't appear on first page u are surely banned.
I know my site is banned but webmaster tools doen't show anything about ban. All inexed pages are there but not shown in search results
best way to fine out is searching your own domain. If it's gone...yup you been banned. Use the webmasters tool to resubmit your site for reconsideration. site:site.com don't work for example, if you use site:text-link-ads.com it'll still show it, but if you search text-link-ads.com, it's not anyway except on some bloggers page where it says the site has been banned.
The simple fact is that it will no longer appear in the SERP and the indexed pages will be a big zero... Google webmaster tools will give more insights about this facts.
2 options 1. Tool, example http://www.iwebtool.com/google_banned 2. Type the domain and search. If it is gone, then the site is banned.
