Positive Clickbank Report for once!

Ok - I've been seeing negative clickbank reports on here for weeks on end. So I thought it only fair, that if things swing positive, that it should also be reported.

For the last few days, I've seen record breaking sales with my products. I don't actually know the causes, but the increases line up with Clickbanks latest changes.

    - Not only has my sales increased - but my conversion rate has increased. Which tells me it is probably due to a change on Clickbank's end. Because I really haven't changed anything this week.

Is anyone else seeing some increases lately?

Just a positive note among an avalanche of negative reports.

If I wanted to advertise my products on here, it would probably be a little more blatant - like the other ads on here. With a title something like "sell my new high converting clickbank product". :)

But hey - If my products are the only ones seeing an increase in conversions, then maybe they're worth checking out ;)

But my post was honestly to give Clickbank their due, when they deserve it.

I saw a record day yesterday as well. I hope that it's due to a positive change on Clickbank's part. I'd love to see more days like yesterday.

I had a good week as well, never noticed a HUGE down trend as some of the doomsayers accused though, september was actually an above average month for me.

Sorry - I must have misinterpreted what you said up there.

I've seen a positive increase in my products, but I've also seen a positive increase in some of the other products I affiliate for.

I've had a great last couple of days as well. But then again, I didn't notice a huge downturn over the last 30 days as others have reported. In fact, this last pay period was one of the best yet.

I read a great quote the other day...It's not what happens that matters, it's what YOU DO! Well, I've been working my balls off lately and have been reaping some of the rewards.

you can always check ClickBank Analytics
There is indeed a trend going down in overall sales, but you will see that some products lose while others gain.

Yes that should be the main point to base on. That data shows that lot of less sales are being made - probably due to the economy (everyone is trying to save money).

My stats move more or less with that trend, when i experience less sales, i see the graph going down the next day and vice versa - so the graph seen to be very reliable in my case.

According to my today's sales we will probably see the graph going downards again in the next update.

Ya I will agree venrooy, yesterday was a good day for my 360 product as well, and even today is looking promising. However my affiliate sales are still at a shocking 0. I have 6 hours to go before I get my first 0 affiliate sales day since August!!

Past 2 weeks on the affiliate side have been great for me also with ClickBank. I think the most I have done infact since starting with them a year ago. Now to ramp up the publishing side..

Yes probably the majority are publishers, im from both ends and i have some interesting stats from yesterday, shown below:

    As an Affiliate:
    No Sales Gap Between : 5:00 - 11:00
    No Sales Gap Between: 13:00 - 18:30

The total numer of sales at end of day was 24, which is less than the average norm. But sales were too sticked together when they did occured. Its pratically impossible to have this amount of sales in the same timespan and then such a huge gaps (5-6 hours gaps at peak order time) of no sales - its obvious that something was wrong.

    As a PUBLISHER:

Sales occured from 16:30 to 22:36 (Over 20 sales in just this short period of time) which is very stange.

how do these increased sales link to traffic?

i.e. are you getting increased traffic to your sites -> more hops & sales ...

or is it literally same traffic, but more hops/sales?

I think ClickBank are batch processing orders and then posting the stats to the affiliates and publishers stats pages because I have noticed the same thing.

They are having problems with the cc processor, clients are not able to buy during these periods which will result in lot of lost sales.

In not just guessing, I log all sales that are made (all people that visit my thank you pages after a purchase) so i know exactly the time a sale is made.

It looks like Clickbank are not the only ones with credit card processing
problems. Below is a portion of an email I received from another affiliate
program I am signed up with:

" I'm sure you noticed the dip in conversion in late September. We did too both from our watching numbers daily and from you writing or calling to alert us. Thanks! I've been watching a trend form for a while but it really hit hard at the end of last month. After much research we discovered that our, previously best, anti-fraud tool, Verified by Visa (VbV), was declining many more sales than it used to. We turned it off and right away saw sales conversions increase by 50% or more! But that's not the end, we reviewed all of our anti-chargeback measures and made more adjustments and got even better results. Then, this weekend while chairing part of a board meeting for the DRF (directresponseforum.org), I discussed this issue with some of the top people in our industry and discovered that it wasn't just us. They were seeing the same thing and had either stopped using or slowed down use of VbV as well. So, between the board members and members of the affiliate community, that we're heavily involved in, we continued tweaking and solved the issue for now. But rest assured that we're watching it and the whole industry closely! We're always looking out for you, but please don't ever hold back if you notice and issue, contact us right away. As always, thanks for your hard work... let's burn through the 4th Quarter and make it our best this year! "
