No you need to get out and vote. I want to be able to blame all that voted for the wrong party, for the imminent destruction of the economy, and moral fiber. The election will mark the beginning of the end for the empire.

what can they do that republicans haven't done? Balance the budget? win the war in Iraq? give a tax break to middle class? Get OBL? Help people be able to take their kids to see a doctor when they gets sick? Invest in education?Invest in alternative energy in a meaningful way? Follow the rule of law? don't come back in a year and say i did not know it is going to get this bad.

<<Sigh.>> It appears Biz is giddy for my attention again.

    Read this very carefully, Biz.

"I." I, myself, the fellow typing right now.

"Worked inside law." Not a lawyer, played one on TV. Paralegal, working primarily in workers' comp, med mal defense, insurance/reinsurance and subrogation, probate, construction and professional liability law, and IP.

"(one of many lives)." I've done many things over my years. Since you seem to have a desperate need to follow me around on this, you're free to investigate - in a conversation with Guerilla, many moons ago, a brief backstory of everything. It happens. Look up "peripatetic." Enjoy.

"for years." A collection of time.

    Still confused, have a drink.

Oh, yes, of course. Massive. Careful - I just saw Obama's eyes on this thread. Runnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!

anyways back on subject, looks like the judge dismissed the lawsuit, claiming a citizen has no right to question whether or not a candidate is eligible to be president, however the lawyer who filed it is appealing, so we will see what happens.

Newflash, the war is being won, and with honor, not with our tails tucked between our legs like you messiah would like it.

didn't i tell you that. the lawyer is crazy. you guys are losing it
thanks to the people for voting the pugs out. If it was not for the pressure rumsfeld would be secretary of defense and Iraq a blood bath. It was not the surge as much as the change in the leadership.

I predicted that this would get non-suited. The "complaint" filed by this guy is garbage, and it will get nowhere. The judge's Memorandum and Order rightly, and I would say gently, dismisses the Complaint as the work of a whack job, in so many words.

A lot of it goes to legal principle that would likely make the layperson go cross-eyed, to be honest. In a word, Berg, the Plaintiff, failed to reach the threshold of particularized, concrete harm that is required to secure relief under federal law. The court summarizes by specific referral to the same case made against McCain in Hollander - both McCain in Hollander, and Obama in this nut-job's complaint, prevail because the plaintiff in each instance simply lacked standing. (http://www.obamacrimes.com/attachments/045_Obama,%20Judge%20Surrick%20Ruling%2010%2024%202008.pdf - - page "13/34 - really crappy copy). Basically, to simply argue "Plaintiff will suffer irreparable harm" is just malarkey, in any legal sense, because, as the court says, "the harm is too vague, and the effects too attenuated," for a plaintiff to gain standing arguing on behalf of the harm (bottom of 13, top of 14).

Furthermore, the nutjob's attempt to distinguish his case from Hollander backfires - Hollander stood to lose with McCain's eligibility, since Hollander was running against McCain. No such injury takes place in Berg's suit.

The rest of the guy's attempts regarding standing were rightfully dismissed as frivolous, because he simply cites several sections of the U.S.C. that have no bearing on his argument.

In other words, kind of like me suing Simply because of his avatar, and to prove I've got a legitimate claim, I refer to maritime law and the concept of "ex aque et bono" to make my stand. ("by means of justice and righteousness, used in international law exclusively, argument by moral suasion as opposed to codified law).

Basically, complete nonsense, frivolous, tossed. While the judge won't write it in the memorandum, I would - the guy is simply nuts, and that "complaint" was one of the most tortured pieces of legal garbage I've ever seen.

To those who want to make a federal case out of this, quit whining - 8 days left. I think there's something about an Ayers-or other, or the fact Obama once said "hi" to that guy on 33rd and Roscoe, sometime around 4:17, or the fact he uses Tom's of Maine toothpaste, other really important ways to reverse the tidal wave.

McCain was born in a U.S. territory to US parents and is a natural born citizen.

It would be left to the Supreme Court to define a 'natural born' citizen should a case reach the court.

It kind of suprising that there would be doubt as to where Obama was born.

Well my friend, glad your not voting for him but just so you know, Obama would not be the first one to fake a birth certificate i assure you. Give me the right paper and i could do it myself.

Berg (the lawyer filing the law suit) has in his possession a phone call recording of Obamas grandmother admitting Obamas birth in Kenya. The recordings are being analyzed and translated.

Apparently anything that doesn't expose obama as an illegal immigrant, terrorist supporting baby killer has to be a "cover up" to homebiz. I can't imagine how hard it must be for homebiz when reality so routinely contradicts the fantasy land which exists only in his head.

The election is only a few days off. Lets say all this is true and Obam wins the elction. Does a democrat controlled House of Represenatitives impeach Obama or does the electoral college elect McCain?

When Obama later returned to Hawaii, within the United States, there should have been a government document affirming his citizenship, but that also cannot be found. If that was not processed properly, Berg said, Obama would be in a situation even worse than not being a natural-born citizen.

"If he didn't go through immigration, he now is illegal and has been an illegal alien. He couldn't even hold the position of senator for Illinois," Berg said.

Further, Berg said he suspected Obama's college records may indicate he received aid as a foreigner, and that's why those records have been withheld by the campaign.

"I really think it's because it probably indicates he's from Kenya, or Indonesia, or received foreign aid," Berg said.

Correct, its really deeper than a birth certificate, there are other citizenship laws at play as well. So even if the BC is legit, He went to Indonesia and HAD to become a citizen just to enroll in school. Then he comes back to US at 10. Is He American, Or Indonesian? Double citizenships are illegal in America

I believe he was referring to you not Berg.

simplyg123, Berg cased was thrown out the 24th that article was the 23rd, it seems the "tapes" didn't do anything for his case.

"tapes" is quotation because the guy(Berg) is talking out of his arse.

As you just said he came back when he was 10.

If you are 18 or older and obtain naturalization in a another country. You'll lose your US citizenship. He wasn't 18.

You must be his babysitter. Well I suggest you explain to him that I, had nothing to do with this move. Im just posting the facts.

The "tapes" haven't been released yet, (to my knowledge) They are being translated and an affidavit is being prepared, to present upon release.

The judge did not rule on the birth certificate, he ruled on Bergs right to question the eligibility, which is being appealed, making this case far from over.
