    Hi ,
Is there any way to do this :
I add a link on my site for example : www.site1.com

I want the admin of site 1 not to know that my site is the site referring users to his site. So if he looks at the site visitor satus ( his awstats), he would find different urls other than my URL...

Any way to do this ?

Well using tinyurl the user first goes to a forward script at tinyurl.com. That will then change the referer to tinyurl.com. Not exactly subtle when the admin see's 100 billion referers from tinyurl, but meh.

    Why do you care anyway?

Would a blank referer work for what you are looking for? Or are you looking to specify the referer? Depending on your answer, the first is easy, the second hard...

could you explain why the tinyurl thing did not work?
All you have to do is make the destination url say xyz.com into a tiny url say tinyurl.com/xyz.
and then point your domain/links to tinyurl.com/xyz.
so all the other guy will see in his referers is tinyurl.com/xyz and not your links
