Hi, Who say that YSM is better than Google adwords ? i don't agree with that, in my experience Adwords is better in traffic, CPA, Leads, and also no doubts in service they provided
i have also not good experience from YSM and using adwords from last 2 years for my all projects. Adwords contains all information about search KWS so it can suggest us better. YSM is ok but compare to adwords, it need more improvement.
It really just depends on your campaign. For some things, clicks are way cheaper than Adwords and convert better. For others, the traffic never converts for me. You need to test on both networks each niche.
The truth is somewhere in between, I prefer SM. Better Sales and a lot Cheaper as well. Traffic is a bit slower.
next factors surrounding Yahoo and Google search engines this is a profound and exciting niche meeting both Yahoo and MSN has there all powerful search engine that surrounds words that sell and make people money via Internet I've used Yahoo over Google a few times.. it entirely depends on what product they're trying to sell it seems that on Yahoo computers and software are top sellers but on Google search engine to combination of health and wellness PPC campaigns all telemarketing and nearly almost all the top searchable criteria on line is that most people search for over the web.
most probably the traffic you get is not from yahoo actually. at least mine comes only 33% from yahoo itself (and that part coverts excellent). the rest of the clicks are just garbage from redirects and useless websites and coversion for those is a fat zero. from what domains does your traffic come from?
Google adwords in my opinion is better than Ysm...ysm doesn't have good conversions but at least it's better than Adbrites conversions LOL I have such bad stories about them
I'm new here and still testing my site, so I decided to start a Yahoo campaign, mainly because my long-string keyword phrases are so much cheaper on Yahoo than on Adwords. Hope I didn't make a mistake. I just started the campaign early this morning, so time will tell. This is not my first time with PPC, but when I did it before, I lost a LOT of money and no conversions (wasn't on Yahoo, though). So I am re-doing everything from the ground up, starting with smaller ad budget, etc. I'm going a lot slower this time, and I am hoping my diligent keyword research results in a few conversions and not just clicks. But who knows? Thanks for posting this question; I was wondering the same thing. Paulette
From reading this thread, tons of others and information on blogs it appears its down to some niches will simply be more suited to one over the other. And you cant be sure that one is poor compared to the other unless you have tried the same method in both search engines. Theres so many other factors involved in PPC that could contribute to a disappointment or a success.
I agree with you, Darwin. I had a campaign that was doing really well with Yahoo but was barely converting with Google. It really does depend on your campaign. I guess that's why everyone says test on all 3 of the major networks.
It is cheaper, and can often get you cheaper conversions, but the interface is not good at all and doesn't even come close to competing with Google.
