    OPENING: Marketing genius

OPPORTUNITY: To work with a well established career website

GOAL: To try and increase conversion rates

Hello, I have a very popular career site. It's getting about 2500 unique visitors per day. It has a google pr of 5. It's ranked about 124,000 on Alexa. I've been in business for 8 years now.

What I'm looking for is someone who is a real Marketing Wizard. My conversion rate on the site is really not too good. I'm pulling what I estimate to be about .2 of a percent in orders. Yes 1/5th of 1%. Not great. I think it could be a lot better.

If you have a strong marketing background, especially in terms of ways to increase conversion rates then this might be an opportunity that you should look at.

PM me and let me know about your marketing background. Thanks.

I'm not sure that buying traffic is going to help with his conversion rate

    What is a conversion trump?

Is a signup to receive notifications a conversion? An employer posting a job? A job-hunter posting a resume?

Good point Eric. If you're looking for a conversion on a Job Advert, that's totally different to a candidate application.

My first thought is - if you're looking for people to place jobs adverts, but your main traffic comes from people looking for jobs . . . try upping the traffic from searches on terms like:

    advertise job
    post job listing

    etc.

Have I got the wrong end of the stick here?
