Hey All, I'm having some issues with Google SERPS. I regularly submit sitemaps and ping both Google and Google Blog Search to get my articles indexed as quick as possible. At the moment my articles show up in Google Blog Search withing 5 hours of posting, and my article is also indexed by Google Search Engine as well (partly). The problem I have is that if I search for the full article title it only displays my homepage (where the article link exists) instead of the article (and the actual article cannot be found at all), but if i search for the article URL, Google can find it with no problems. I don't think i'm being banned in anyway, the site gets plenty of traffic for older articles through Google (that eventually appears in SERPS). My homepage has PR of 4 and i can see that Google updates my homepage cache around 2 times a day. Does anyone know what the issue might be? Hope you guys can help! Thanks in advance. Abupu
I think its a matter of patience. Listing updates are not done instantly, for something like your article URL Google would be able to list your site, but for the article name, putting your site near the top would mean rejuggling the other sites, this seems to be done in a batch process, so it can take some time before you'll see it.
AKA DataCenters. Take it easy, you can get your article index in one of Google DC's after 5 hours but only 20 hours later it will merge with your DC
