Yeah, I would remove the landing page too, it's one click extra that you don't need, people don't like that
There is a reason why you should get rid of the landing page and it is not that it looks bad. It is just that some people may not wanna click it because they won't understand what's behind the button. Whereas, if you start with a bang, I mean the /reviews, people are more likely to be drawn in. So, definitely, I have to agree with others. Get rid of the landing page. There's no reason to keep it. Can you balance out the main section with the right section? I mean, the right section is much longer and when people will start adding comments, it will grow longer. Either remove TAGS, move categories to a new bottom section (a new horizontal section) or feature 10 stories instead of 5 - this will balance the section lengths. The story pictures need to be downsized or lined-up along the right section border. At the moment it is just a mess, I didn't even understand they had something to do with the stories. I thought it was advertising. Favicon needs a background or the logo needs to be darker. It disappears on most of the tabbed browsers because the background is grey. Overall, I like the idea and I like the simplicity of the design. Privet ot shpani
