lol i am gonna be the odd one out and say its.. Rigged! Alexa is getting paid by yahoo to put their site up there lol
Well I have been to asia, and everyone (or maybe 90%) use Yahoo! Mail when I was there. And Asia is a very big continent.
Voilà ...you see yahoo is crap? Nah just a joke But yeah in my eyes it's just because everything is on yahoo.com domain... But really EVERYTHING If yahoo would make; yahoo.be , yahoo.nl , yahoo.cn etc.. you would see their rankings decrease like hell... See alexa for google.nl for example... it's very high, so if you would count ALL those numbers together.. google would be 19884984 times yahoo.. Greetz
4.3m!? I could've sworn that I've heard google are receiving around 13m searches a day, but I suppose that could be merely searches, not searchers I wish I got 4.3m to my freaking site!
hello fnds......my site ranking is no reduce... this is my url:http://www.globalvisionb2b.com any problem...what reason..pls tel me suggestion

It is because, google has many TLDs like .co.in, .co.uk and many more which are not counted in Google.com's traffic, but yahoo has only one TLD .com, with different subdomains for different countries, so no matter from where a visitor is coming, he is counted to be on yahoo.com
That happens because Yahoo! is more popular than Google or than any other place on the internet. Just imagine how many services Yahoo! offers (mail, messenger, search, answers, news...) and how many people visit their services. Just don't tell me you don't use any Yahoo! service at all... Yahoo! was even born earlier than Google with about 1 year (that is much in the internet life).
I agree with post #55. I think Google would beat Yahoo! if youtube get under the Google domain. I mean something like youtube.google.com
