I have a paypal account and a friend of mine wants to sign up for his own account from my computer. Does paypal allow more than one person to sign up from a single IP?

    Thanks.

Of course, as Paypal does not allow anyone to share the paypal account and they are mindful that most family especially if the members are living together are made up of more than one party and that buying over the web is so common now.

However, a few things to note, make sure that all the paypal accounts are verified properly and as soon as physically possible. At the same time, ensure that you do not engage in the same business and do not transfer money between the two accounts or buy and sell to each other's accounts. Keep them totally separate as far as fund transfers are concerned and you be fine.

Yes, this is true. Not following these points can limit your account, and this may just prove as a hindrance to your business

MrLiopo, I don't think that paypal will have any problem if your friend sign up from your computer using your IP. But the information provided at the time of registration must be valid and at the time of verification you he must have provided valid bank account information or credit card details. If paypal get any kind of sense of suspicious activity both of your account might get limited.

You can try clearing your cookies. Or perhaps if you have dynamic IP then you can do it. But I have tried it with my sister account before and it was ok ...Although we have dynamic ip

No problems at all as long as you are not into something bad.
