The Anchorage Daily News Endorses Barack Obama

The Alaskan newspaper announced that they are supporting Barack Obama for president despite the Governors tremendous popularity there.

With a circulation of roughly 71,000 and two Pulitzer Prizes, the Anchorage Daily News is the state’s most influential newspaper. It has been critical of Palin in the past, though the endorsement still comes as a surprise.

Ouch indeed - saw that on CNN this morning. I can't imagine the bloodbath going inside of McCain HQ - sharks feeding on each other.

In other news, the Anchorage Daily News is now the most un-American newspaper in America.

Maybe Anchorage isn't in the real America like Wasilla.

I kinda saw that coming. They have a "Sarah Palin" RSS Feed that I have been following since she was named McCain's running mate.
It's pretty obvious that they don't like her judging by the numerous stories about how much of a hypocrite she is that I have read over the weeks.
They think she pretty much would sell her mother if it meant getting ahead and they have no respect for the way she handled the "bridge to nowhere". Most of the stories about it come from the stand point that she made her own citizens look stupid on the whole issue and lied about her support of it.

I saw this coming, because Anchorage:

    • Isn't Patriotic
    • Are Un-American
    • Race played a huge factor, do you know how many black live in Alaska!??!!?
    • Are Sell Outs
    • And are Anti American

Are you going to start a thread on everyone and every paper endorsing Obama? It just shows with each endorsement how ignorant voters and newspapers are. The sheep are lining up to the slaughter. Change hope change

What is the deal with endorsement anyway, to me it just looks like manipulation, undecided voter hunting. If people can't make their own decisions, and need to look who the others vote, to decide, then there is no point in elections for them, they should just not vote at all.

    Nope

I'm going to start a thread every time a conservative Republican or the newspaper of the HOME STATE of Governor Palin announces that even they don't support her, admitting she's not even remotely qualified.

I lol at how you call them ignorant. I was worried no conservatives would be stupid enough to come in this thread and bash the paper. But HOMEBIZ to the rescue ROFL!

FACT IS people with a lot better insight into Sarah Palin's background are openly admitting she is not the best candidate for VP and for America. But feel free to get mad all you want :D

I'm sorry but this is the equivalent to the unlikely scenario of the Chicago Tribune coming out for McCain. No matter how you slice it, this is big.

I bet if Jesus H. Christ came out for Obama you'd have something bad to say about him too.

We already showed our ignorance by electing "W" for a second term. I am sure glad it is working out well for you, because the rest of the country is pissed.
Face it, McCain is a product of the Republican party and hardly anyone trusts Republicans right now, and it gets worse with every new "fear mongering" catch phrase:

Terrorist, Socialist, Racist, Elitist,...I imagine there will be a few more before it's all over and McCain can retire in shame for looking like a sore loser, and throwing away his legacy by looking absolutely bitter.
