The algorithms are different. But my experience is that if you focus on quality contents and quality backlinks. You can get good ranking in both yahoo and google

Get ranking high in both search engine, you need quality website, quality content and quality backlinks. IMO it is easy to get high rank in Google but its quite tough to get rank in Yahoo, and i think this is because of yahoo's algorithm.

sites quality is an imp thing, but u read every search engines rules and regu, and if thierafter u have submitted ur site, and this is right way u have got, the u r on the safe way,. but if u lose one rule then u could be a victim among banned site

I don't think that bringing your keyword at first position is hard in google or yahoo. The only thing to follow is your logic and correct path ( no spamming).

Its easy if you use some unique tricks and search engine guidelines.

Search engines differ on their rules. Google is more reliable since they are targeted.

Its due to difference in algorithms of both search engines. Any way Google is the major search engine so I suggest you to keep your ranking at Google.

goolge rankings based on how competitive and how relative your backlinks of your website, while yahoo rankings based not only in backlinks as well as the content of your site.
