will deep linking help over serps and pr ?

    will linking to sub pages of a site help the over all ranking of the site if links are coming from authority sites ?

    Link juice is passed among all the pages in your site. Providing the deep linked page has a links to other pages in your site, it will help.

    Google absolutely loves Deep links, it is much more natural to have links pointing to various pages of your website rather than just the homepage

    Another thing to keep in mind is that you want the anchor text to be varied, Google loves varied anchor text, once again, it is only natural to have various anchor text pointing to your website.

    I confess..I am deep linker and yes it works well.
    I even set deep pages for specific micro searches and then link them to blog posts and forum posts.

    My inner pages typically have a dozen or so links to them from other websites. Some have several dozen. Many of those inner pages' keywords are ranking well in Google searches. Yes, deep links help!
