some people go around bidding on every domain

One example is this person, SI_WU485
He even bids on posts where the person is buying not selling.

What are they up to, just collecting email addresses?

Well spotted - they're probably either trying to increase their post count (i.e. spamming!) or it could be someone trying to scam. Might be worth reporting them to a mod using the button at the top of the thread - they could be screwing up people's auctions by submitting false bids!

Just let him know what you think delivering some Red Rep.
Anyway, if a mod picks up some of his posts he's banned in 10 seconds: a lot of bump's and nonsense posts.

As stated in many of the post above, most likely:
    1) Getting post count up (via spam posting)
    2) Attempt at some sort of scheme/scam

Could be other reasons, I'm sure...but those seem the likeliest.

I sold him some domains. I think he used stolen credit/card paypal accounts cuzz the addy's and names didnt match.

Which is why im worried about paypal taking the money back now.

nothing major has happened though, nothing has been reversed.

For now on when im selling, only the bids and offers of established members will be accepted. Sad that I have to do this, but im sick of this crap and these people.

that might seem fair for you, but that will just choke the system..
Imagine if everyone does that, there wont be any new people here, no new clients, no new businesses. Newbies coming here will get tired that no one is selling to them and they wont give it enough time to become "established".

Think we should treat these cases individually. I know people who have scammed here for 1000's of dollars and they all had over 50 itraders.

i don't see how it would be a good option to continue giving everyone a chance, at least not via paypal.

I don't like the idea of only allowing certain people to bid, but what else can we do after getting ripped off over and over by scammers?

I don't know how to prevent this, but its not safe to just keep on continuing doing it the way we have been.

This clown probably already has another account.

i've been warning all the members of the threads he replied to offering money.

We all need to watch out for eachother. Since i did that, i dont think anyone got ripped off, but he's sure to make another account.
