    Hi all,

I searched the forum, nothing came up.

I am wondering ... If you need (must...) pick up 3-4 points to invest your time while doing SEO... what's the portions of your work.

    For examples :
    30% Content + 70% Links
    70% Content + 20% Links + 10% Deep linking
    30 % Links + 40% Content + 30% a good domainname

    What do you say....

    Cheers !
    Guy

I think this is a horrible way to map out your agenda.

To be honest, I don't measure my time out. I put 100% into the content and getting the links (which are, coincidentally, going to be deep links).

The domain doesn't really matter. Tizag.com ranks top10 for all types of CSS/PHP/Web development topics. And just what is a Tizag? No one knows.

I agree, but there is another point. I don't say that I take -30-30-40 of my time , it's different from 1 project to another. I totally agree with that.

If someone compete on very hard search terms - Content+Links very very important, more than maybe other things. Ok, but I am talking about general, after taking out few cases.

Think about it - how interesting it can be to see what people will tell you about their work... Again, I think we agree, and I am not suggesting anyone to take portions of work as a bible or anything like that. Work should start with a deep thinking, and to understand each step where are you standing and what's your tomorrow's tasks ;)
