will i be penalized by google and other search engine

hi guys

i am running a website and i have to add some new domains using addons domain.


Suppose my domain name is kennypure.com and i have add a domain usaismyhome using addons via cpanel.

now my site is active with two name

one is usaismyhome.com and another is

usaismyhome.kennypure.com

i want to know will i be penalized by google and other search engine as content is same.....

 

If your setting up sites with the same content you may be penalised.

 

You should redirect your site to the other one, so search engines don't penalize you.

 

Yes you might be penalized for duplicate content! But it's easy to solve
Just do a 301 moved permanently redirect from usaismyhome.kennypure.com to usaismyhome.com, it's very easy done in cpanel.

Why don't you read the google terms before adding a subdomain to avoid such penalization because i have seen one guy who's site has been penalized for doing the same thing which you are looking for by Google and yahoo search engine..

 

Why would you do this in the first place? What's the point off adding a subdomain w/ exactly the same content?

I was penalize by Google for duplicate content 3 years ago because i did not know about redirect! I will not do this again!

 

You don't have to worry about it if that URL never gets out in the open. If Google can't find a link to it, it won't know to index it.

 

Where do you thing google will find that url if you don't give a link from somewhere. No problem if you forgot it and don't tell google about that subdomain or folder. I'm using addon domains for 3 years and nothing happened

 

you won't get penalized for just doing that. Those that are been penalize are selling some links on their site.

 

If nobody is linking to the sub-domain you should have no problems, as Google won't know it exists.

 

i don't think it will penalized. Because many site with >1 domain names, they r all ranked well. But u will face problem in marketing

 

Don't worry, you won't have a problem, since you will not have any site linking to addondomain.domain.com
Google will not even even know that usaismyhome.kennypure.com exists, there will not be a single backlink to it.

This is not wise at all, anybody could link to any thing without you even knowing it! You have to do your work to redirect and never count on what others might do.
