? Alexa rank 50,000 = how many hits?

    I am just wandering about a site with this kind of alexia rank.
    About how many hits a month would this equal?
    Is there any way to find out the traffic for a competitors site?

    Thanks so much. This site is the best.

    It depends of the website. Traffic doesn't rely on Alexa ranking.

    Alexa rank is not accurate. Rank 50.000 means it receives a lot of visitors with Alexa Bar installed on their browsers. But if it receives 3.000 or 5.000.000 unique visitors in a day, noone knows.

    Webmaster focused site with 2000 uniques a day could reach this ranking. However if you have an entertainment site, you'd be looking at about 6000 uniques a day to reach this type of ranking.

    depending on site-topic and share of webmasters visiting your site - you can estimate may be 10'000-15'000 uv / day.
    I have 15'000+ uv/d and get alexa just below 40'000

    Alexa Ranking is meaningless. If u use toolbar you can climb up a couple thousand by yourself. My site is at 140k got 15k UVs/day. And never give a sh*t to Alexa

    This site http://dpositiveside.blogspot.com/ is in the top 100k. I don't have any traffic analyzer code placed on my site. So I am not sure how much traffic I receive daily. Any idea?

    there is NO scientific way to guess ur traffic

    BUT

    the good news is that u HAVE some kind of reliable traffic analyzer
    look at ur google adsense stats
    the number of page impressions is very close to the number of unique visitors
