http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/entertainment_tv_tvblog/2008/10/obama-campaign.html Lessons learned? Don't ask the Obama campaign legitimate questions about their real purpose (like Joe the Plumber did), or ye shall be punished for exposing the truth. Obama and Biden are absolute nuts with no morals or integrity. Wool, sheep...eyes. Not no mores!
A bit of an over reaction on the Obama campaign's part from what I see here so far. The TV station was obviously seizing the opportunity with a member of a presidential ticket to ask some gotcha questions like most stations would. But I mean come on.... The video stream says it's unavailable but from what I see here it looks like within the first minute of the interview they accused Obama of being a marxist and asked Biden whether he thinks Obama being elected would mean the end of America... lol! Can't say they should have reacted so strongly but I haven't seen the interview. But Sarah Palin was unknown to any of you just 2 months ago. Now we sit 10 days from the possibility of her being Vice President of the United States and she's still being guarded like a national secret. It's not just that she's a heartbeat away. John McCain doesn't even have to die. He can just get sick. Alzheimers, influenza, anything. And This woman would be in charge making decisions.....
Palin is well known now. No secret marxist and socialist issues. The media has done a poor job of vetting Obama and apparently just flat out didn't even try, as evidenced by learning that Bill Ayers was much more than just a "guy in the neighborhood" as the Obama campaign so dishonestly put forth. We learned that Obama wrote an endorsement for his book, launched his political campaign in a terrorists living room, that liberals said he was "just a good educational leader now," only to discover his educational agenda is to teach youth to be radical. When a candidate's positions resemble those of socialist/marxist (and Obama has been drawn to marxists throughout his life), it's a fair and reasonable question. They did the same thing to Joe the plumber. He asked a legitimate question, and mysteriously the next day, Government computers were used to find information on Joe the Plumber. Change. Yep, this is the kind of "change" America wants and needs from Obama/Biden. Marxism, Socialism and apparently a "Police State" for those who "buck the line."
You're right. If Obama is elected he will immediately issue an executive order to create a police state to keep the white people in line. He will name Bill Ayers Secretary of Homeland security and declare capitalism illegal. Chicken and macaroni and cheese will be the only foods available in the new socialist economy. Everyone who votes for Obama is a fool and only the people who voted for Bush are the smart ones. Would you like to take this opportunity to tell us how McCain will turn all of this around?
I appreciate you taking the time to make my point. Some want marxism and socialism. Some want to silence opposition (as we've seen right here on this very forum!). I honestly hoped that was the sort of response I'd see. It's really hard to defend these sort of actions with anything else.
No need, I give up. I'm being unreasonable. For someone who seems to do his research it just seems odd you haven't gotten around to that part yet That's all. No further questions.
This is where I would usually place my silly rofl smiley but I don't want to get hit with another 'Running Up Post Count/Post Has No Value' warning, so I won't. Can. Not. Resist. Urge. Ahhhhhh!! /pisses pants
This coming from a guy who supports the destruction of the Constitution, imprisonment and torture of people without trial and involvement of the judicial system, all in the name of Bush the great, the savior of America.
I think all candidates should be asked the tough question, if Obama and Biden can't handle some tough questions from a reporter how are they going to handle the dictators around the world?
That video doesnt load for me. Something about stream not found. here is interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxT0ELP7az0 Some Republicans are saying this interview showed Joe as inexperience and that Joe screwed up the interview. Doesn't look like that to me.... Joe answered ever question. Seems like West wasn't expecting Joe to give her the answers as well. And why did that article quote only certain words of what Joe said and not the whole thing, and not the whole thing.
two quick points i don't see anything wrong with the way he answered the question. the way some of the questions were constructed was silly. Palin is known as an airhead by the public. She is also believed to be not ready even by her own camp. I guess we can now ask the question "Is mccain ready to make complicated decisions?".
The question was designed to show that Obama must be a Marxist and bad person since he wants to "spread the wealth", so people in the richest country in the world, don't need to sleep hungry in the streets and die from curable diseases. These god damn Godless Marxists, how dare they interfere with the God's and Christians agenda of letting people go hungry and homeless and die from simple disease or freeze from cold.
I do not understand why some people object to being spread with wealth. what is wrong with wealth. If you don't want it paypal me your tax break. spread the wealth on me baby. i take all of it.
The spread of wealth is fine if its done through market initiatives and innovation i.e the creation of google which greatly improved search results and marketing campaigns for companies and in the process made a lot of people search such as the owners and workers at google and the people who were able to tap into the new advertising system such as DP owner Shawn Hogan and the countless other owners of sites. That method of spreading the wealth is good. The Obama method of taxing the most productive members of society and giving it to the least productive is not good because their is less of an incentive to great the next google, or automobile that gets 100 on a gallon of gas and so on.
1% of top earners earn 20% of income. this is a dramatic change from when bush took over. This concentration of income is not healthy for the country. we now have increased the concentration of wealth so much that the economy has collapsed. It is obvious that the tax breaks that bush has given to the wealthy has not worked we need to give a tax break to middle class to improve the economy. the top earning people's income will raise as the result. This is just a better approach in using the tax breaks.
She let him answer the questions without interrupting, so what's the problem? You're going to get interviewers who ask friendly questions and those who don't. The most you should ask for is for them to be respectful and let you answer the question. It's not like Bill O asking a question and then screaming over your answer.
