    Hi all,
I’m new to this message board. I hope you will suggest me a right direction. Actually I have small budget and want to build a home-based service business at my own place but I am confused, what type of business I should start. Could you people suggest me for any business that could I do well and get more profits? Your suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

first I would recomend you to start just one topic not three and then use google and the forum search to check if your questions were already asked and answered before.

But to give you an usefull answer, browse through the forum and look what other people are doing the obvious way for me is freelancing bc you don't need money to start only skills like photoshop, writing and stuff but no money

If you are going to work for yourself, then discipline, and doing something that you love is critical. We cannot tell you what you'll love doing. If you do it just for money, you probably won't be happy, and your work and motivation will both suffer.

I suggest you start selling hosting.
You buy a reseller hosting and sell it.
It will earn you unlimited income

This is easier said than done especially to people who don't know much on technical stuff.

To OP, first you should know what you're good at and have passion on it. If you have skill like writing articles or designing, you can start offering people your service.

Otherwise, selling information products is one path that you can try. There are so many products that come with PLR or resale rights where you can sell it over and over again.

The best way to get started is to select a niche and join a few affiliate programs. This will provide you with product to sell so you don't need to worry about creating products, you can focus on marketing and site design.

I'd suggest web hosting, as this will allow you to branch off easily. Then sell packages on forums to make up the difference. Then you could make sites having the ability to host them on your reseller account, allowing you to expand your business, if you go into affiliate niche as the above poster has suggested you can produce a site for one niche then once it's running smoothly create another site for another niche and keep repeating like this, but focus on one thing at a time or you may get confused and bored easily. Take it one step at a time and plan ahead with goals you want to achieve along the way.

I suggest you do something your good at. Everyone has something he can do superb. Do something with you strenghts and not your weaknesses!

What you love doing can be a hobby. Michael jordan had the gift as a basketballer. The best. After that he started playing baseball because he loved it and guess what, he wasn't even a 10th as successfull as he was as a basketballer.

    Just a thought!

Do what you like. Always remember to go with your passion.
But to get you started, do read ups on forums, ebooks and all. Do your research. Its hard for us to just suggest to you because we all may started off differently and did what we felt comfortable to do.

But follow your passion will definitely lead you to somewhere. But dont over buy products, you should be spending anything yet but doing your research. Drop by my site if you need any information, all information is free to download and no obligation to sign up for anything.

    Good luck.

I would suggest not spending any money at first, but follow these steps.
    1) Make a list of everything you enjoy, you're good at.
    2) Go and buy Keyword Elite/ Seo Elite from the seller selling it for $25.00 in the Buy/Sell/Trade Forum
    3) See if you can find enough profitable keywords that your ideas in step 1.
    4) If you can find at least 10 good keywords, create a blog, and then maybe get some coaching.

    Good luck with your venture.

I'd say if you like to write open a blog and generate it with the good old adsense! If you wanna sale stuff look around ebay or make yourself a website where you sale some sort of service! Either Product or ebook or whatever you like!

if you dont like that and you are qualified in SEO or Webdesgining go to the buy, sell, trade thread and sell your service!:)

    Good Luck made!

    Hi,

I've read the suggestions and miss some things, since I've already quite some experience in setting up Businnesses, I'll give you my point-of-view.

    1. Set your personal goals; where do I want te be in 1 (3-5-10) years.
    2. Look at what you're good at
    3. Look at what you like to do; find also the things which could take away the fun
    4. Research what Market (Customers) would like to have a what you're good at (your product)
    5. Find out what others are doing on that market; who are the numbers 1,2 and 3 why and how can you deal with them. (Then Create a plan to get better at what you do)
    7. Look for communication lines on that Market (like the post you've made)
    8. Find out where your prospects would like to give their money for; this must be valuable!
    9. Deliver it, good, fast and with good customer communications.

There are a lot of books written on these items, so start reading a book a week ;)

    Have fun,

    Jos Donners
