Naaa, there are plenty of offers running over $4.00. This was also about a year ago when True was paying over $4 on street prices. Look at the Thirty Plus and Over 40 offers for example. Both are over $6 for me, but that's not street. You have to just find the right dating niche and not target general dating. I'm not really doing much dating nowadays because of high competition though. My conversion rates when I was running these were from 22-35% and some a little more. Your quality scores also come into play as well as how you sell your offers. You can't just assume it can't be done. It's almost impossible to even try to do the math unless you have all of the details of the campaign.
Cool. Thanks for taking time to respond Trypp. Hope I can learn some more creative ways to make the whole PPC / AM program work at some point but so far it hasn't produced very good ROIs for me and even when I do find a good niche the offers seem to change or go away all too soon after that hard work. Good sites with good content driving organic traffic seems to be what works for me but it just doesn't scale like your model seems to be doing. Thanks for sharing your success and insights with us!
Congrats, I hope i'll hit my first 1k soon. Tomorrow was $400, and today i got close to $600. Your post is so inspiring. -What do you think the acceptable ROI? First couple days when i launched new campaign, my roi was up to %250, then it dropped to ~%100 or so. -How well do you do with YSM? and do you use any contextual ads? -Do you use any tracking cms? click heat? anything else?eg. prosper202, clicktale off topic: mind telling me how old are you? and do u still go to school?
interesting , i would like to know if there are any ebooks/soft that are close to what you are doing ?
It's rather annoying the people saying "woah $4000 a day your must be rich" but the amount you must invest must cut down on the profits a lot, then all of the hosting, time spent earning it, but I bet your still making quite a bit. Good job
Well, since I've switched more to SEO I've had a lot more time. I don't have to "babysit" my campaigns as much. I do still have keyword research and all the other time consuming things that come along with SEM. I pretty much outsource every step besides the main content and research. If I were doing everything, I would be working 20 hour days now. I am still doing very well, but far from rich. I'm very comfortable. Once you get the hang of SEM, it's very easy to scale up. As for expenses, hosting expenses run me around $380 per month for 2 dedicated servers and my link building campaigns are a small fortune. I spend around $3k per week in building links. Well, I try my best to spend it all. Sounds crazy, but sometimes even if I try, I fall short and end up with some money leftover on my budget.
Trypp, same question (already PMed you, but you must be getting hundreds a day) Could i have your LP designer info? Regards
Guys, just to let ya know. I don't use a designer anymore. I do everything in house now. My designer was doing very well, then she kinda went AWOL on me. I decided to try my hand at it and has been working well for me, so I decided to do my own pages.
Man, I think you are killing your life for the couple of thousand bucks a day, I will suggest you to make a little but enjoy our life. Anyways, congratulations..
If you've read the thread, you'd notice he is only working 5-6 hours a day now. Hardly "killing his life".
Typp, Could you elaborate more on how you are using SEO to profit from the PPC campaign you use to run? Do you have an linking building tips to share? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
dencha, I assume he makes SEO separately not "from PPC campaign" Read his posts, he says he spend $3k/week for links. Sure results would be great!
Nice incentivising story, It's great to hear about regular people's triumphs. Those of you disbelievers will more than likely always be difficult to motivate and therfore always be poorer. Take note of how this guy achieved his goal and replicate the process.
