Im my opinion Google Chrome name sounds to be stinky.A layman can figure out what it is.
As in the part of FireFox it is pioneer from long back and ppl know it what it is "The browser".

Opera is also a well known browser but it still lacks many things, ppl are impressed with its speed-dial and they missed to lookout internal features of it such as application performance, page loading time, response to different webpages such as .php .aspx .do .html .. and so on.
When i tried out opera some web apps doesnt seems to be working in it.Specailly asp coded.

Opera have to long run to come in the market and qualify for the browser war.

Netscape is already out of development. I guess the war will continue raging on with Firefox and Chrome in the lead. Chome might catch on once it supports Add-ons, and maybe themes as well.

I believe, Firefox will survive !!!!

Chrome, will stay in Beta for long long time like other Google Products, like gmail, Gtalk, Orkut etc

IE is the most vulnreable one , most of trojans and password stealers can get ie stored passwords easily , and because of the most popular is IE , adwares target IE .

So this is not a fair "browsers wars" poll, it's more a "browsers that the user SEOBOT thinks are cool".

You have forgotten some major browsers, Opera and Safari beeing two of them. ;)

And yes, I'm a Opera user like so many on this thread. And yes, I use IE, Safari, Firefox and now Chrome for web development, every website I make needs to work in the most used web plataforms.
