    Howdy folks,

I have been put in charge of revamping my friends website.
    www.environmentalretreatcenter.org
    Code (markup):
They want a blog to be part of the site. I am using wordpress. I have taken a nice free theme and modified it to more fit their use.

The only thing I really hate about it is the way it looks in IE (the rounded corners). It is using CSS3, it there an easy and or effective way to get the same effect? It would be nice if it look similar in all browsers.

If you have other comments on how to make it better, please do not hesitate.

What is mentioned by the rest here of the reviewers here is correct. This is only what I can see...
I'm using Firefox to view this. Nothing else other than the wording on a plain orange background.

Wow, sure looks different on some browsers.

What browsers do you normally code for? all of them?

I find the top say 8 browsers that view my website (via Analytics) and make sure it looks really great on those, then just make sure nothing is horrific on the rest. :)

    That's just me though.

I must say, I quite like the design, though... (not the ../test, I mean, the original orange)

*Gallery. I didn't find anything I expected to find there. It's all about the rooms, right? Need some rooms in Gallery index. I don't care about those happy munchin' people. And the last thing I wanna see is Cindy's kitchen! I'm renting the rooms so show me the rooms!

*Can you do an orangy shadow around the gallery pics instead of grey? The same shadow you got along the main page section?

*The head.jpg file is 130 kb - way too heavy. You need to down-size it to 20kb or so... I wonder if you could add another colour to this header. How about colouring the clouds in light-blue?

*Change the Header text. I don't know what is "The ERC" and Google will neither. Research the keywords and use proper keywords as a Header text! And then, why H2? Maintain the hierarchy! H1 should be the first header. You can't just skip it and use H2! If you only have one Header text in a page, use H1.

*For the site to display OK in Explorer you need to set a background image for footer div (the same you use for container div). Apart from that I don't see any serious problems.

*Go to http://validator.w3.org/ and validate your code! Important!!! Just validate the code and forget about the browsers. You cannot make it good for everyone.

Anyway, I really like the design!

    Send you what?

@tankard - Are those comments for the old design? Because with the new one there isn't a head.jpg, just on main background image. Thanks for the comments though.

    confused...
all those comments about the page I get checking environmentalretreatcenter(.)org (you know, the sun on the top, orange background on the sides and the white stuff in the centre)

I'm not saying a word about environmentalretreatcenter(.)org/test/ because I am a good English gentleman and I am not supposed to use bad language...
