for example your coz uncle ant or any relative live in such country that paypal works and not banned then request them to create a paypal id and verify it for you by giving their doc and say them to use that id for some time such as more then a month so that account is in safe line after that you can use it and the other option is they can create business account i think in that account they can add many admin like user who can buy sell frm all over the world its new option they introduce so ppl like us can use safe paypal..
money bookers is better as they dont charge too much its about $2.50 each time you withdraw to your bank account. If you use a virtual credit card they charge a lot to withdraw from atm plus a monthly fee to keep the card running AND they charge when you load funds to the card !

I heard many people doing it specially from Pakistan and Bangladesh but still i think its little bit risky ... Some people use multi-user account just for online buying as its little bit hard to withdraw money from it so i think so its better to use alternatives thn to have great loss in paypal

bloodsavi if you live in srilanka how did you create the paypal and received money? moneybooker also doesn't support local bank withdrawels to sri lanka. but you can create a moneybooker account from srilanka and receive money into that account. withdrawel can be done using escrow. So far I didn't find a good way to switch money from Paypal to moneybooker but I've heard the xoom and someother money swiching services do that. Some transfer rate would be involved. I think the best way is to find a good friend who tursts you and who has both moneybooker and paypal. Then send him your paypal money to his paypal account and ask him to transfer equal amount of money to your moneybooker account from his moneybooker. Its the best solution.

well, the best thing to do is go ahead and sign up for a paypal account anyway. But you would have to use a virtual card to verify your account. I wish I could give you a reliable source for a good virtual card, but I cannot find any. Then, you would need a mail forwarding service. There are plenty online, but I would search for some in the US. that allow mail forwarding to other countries. You will use the assigned mail forwarding address for your virtual card (to verify paypal) and for your paypal account info. Bam...thats it...good luck
