Wordpress 2.6.3 Is Out!

Guys, I thought you would want to know that the Wordpress 2.6.3 is now avaialbe for download. The Wordpress 2.6.3 fixes the problem with the Snoopy Library.

always got new version... very lazy to upgrade my blogs..

 

What are the advantages for upgrading I am still at 2.6.1 and does not seem to be having problems

Most of the previous updates are related to security. If you updated to the latest Wordpress, that means your blog is more secured. I'd recommend you upgrade ASAP. I also don't encourage you to tell the world that your blog isn't using the latest version of Wordpress. Some hackers might take advantage of the vulnerabilities of your blog.

 

hacker can figure out your WP version even you don't tell it.
And its always a good practice to keep renew your WP version

 

No need to download whole wordpress, just download two files and overwrite current installation

Automatically Upgrade WordPress can automatically ur old version into latest Version just take few steps

 

I always update as soon as I see them, always best to be secure.

 

So i installed 2.6.2 today and 2.6.3 is out .. that hurts

 

you can make upgrading wordpress with the auto upgrade wordpress plugin. I was able to update my blog to the latest wordpress version in 3 minutes. You should try it too.

 

Oh yea i totally 4got abt the plugin i did that..

 

Seriously this is the last draw! I'm getting the automatic updater!

 

Trust me, that'll save you so much time. I'm using it in my blog and it only takes me about 2 minutes to update my blog to the latest wordpress version.
