Looking for an SEO specialist

Hi,

I am looking for an SEO specialist to take care of the off-site SEO on some of my Forex sites.

I would provide keywords to target and can also provide SEO articles if needed.

The sites already have a good search engine presence already ranking well for some relatively competitive keywords. However I do not have time to carry on the SEO work effectively.

I have a budget of $200 per month, per site and would probably start someone on a 6 month trial on one, maybe two of my sites.

Previous experience in Forex SEO is preferred.

Before anyone considers using "RankonTop," I'd just like to point out that he believes using hyphens in a URL will "cancel out" parts of the string following the hyphen. If an "SEO" doesn't even understand the most basic fundamentals, how can you expect them to properly manage your business online?

Please, if you're considering outsourcing your SEO, don't simply get references. Interrogate your potential SEO. Google Webmaster Help has an article which suggests some good questions to ask.

When interviewing a potential SEO, do it over the phone. Asynchronous communication, such as email, doesn't let you get a good feel for their knowledgebase (disreputable SEO consultants will just Google your questions and feed you the first meta description in the SERP).

this is funny on so many levels.

 

Funny, but at the same time sort of distressing. Clients who try to hire real SEOs are inevitably contacted by these types first, which leads to unrealistic expectations and misinformation - making it a lot harder for the real SEO when they inevitably have to step in.
