I just had a time-shock. It felt like going back to 1995. I don't know what script you use but is it possible to incorporate it into a Wordpress? There are plugins that read RSS and automatically post the news. Grab a WordPress, grab a blackSplat theme and create a site that people will like to visit and re-visit. Get yourself a logo, get a favicon, start working on a brand awareness. You definitely need a 3rd life for this if you want it to work!
News archive is a nice thing to add .. You can also add some latest news section or breaking news section for latest news or some latest incidents from all over the WOrld
Thanks for the comments. But the whole newszz.com site itself contains all the latest news from all different sources. So sounds like adding another section for that would be redundant.

The thing I have my own set of scripts that read RSS and post the news. Now how do I integrate it into wordpress? So does it mean I get rid of my set of scripts and use the wordpress rss reader and parse the rss and post the news? That sounds like a good idea, since readers will also be able to leave their comments on wordpress, right? What is a blackspat theme? I will investigate more by searching into google for it. Hi. Just came across this post. I think you need to make the site more appealing to the eye. I think you need a clearer structure as well as a more appealing color scheme. You could make it a bit more interactive as well!
You are patient to grab the domain again. lol For the site. I think the width of left menus are too small and the menu background color and text color are not very good. Try to modify it , guy.
Hi, Site and the concept is fine. But the color selection is not fit to your purpose. Before I design a site I always take a look around the sites witch related to my niche. Then you can come to a clear idea how they are catching people. I'm not telling that you should copy them. But you have to get an idea what is the current trend in your niche. Eye catching color in most impotent factor. Then design a specific logo/banner to your website. That should be your unique identity between your competitors. I'm using 15.4" screen. I found some alignment problems. So I recommend to stick in to a fixed width. Anyhow again it's a good idea.....! Best regards....

It just happened that the domain expired and I grabbed it. I wasn't waiting all the time to do that though. So did you happen to own the domain sometime back? Just curious. Width of the menus, um...I am not sure if there is one standard width that will fit all browsers and screen sizes. How do you deal with that? For the color scheme, I have changed it to more darker colors now. Please take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks.
Hi, I have done some changes to the site, particularly to the color schema and the news layout in the page (using multiple columns now). I admit it isn't in its best condition, but I hope it is an improvement over the previous one. Can people take a look and let me know what you think of the design/layout and site content now? I also don't like the colors. Why not check out a site like the bbc.co.uk site. Colors on there look very professional. About the content. It's good stuff but how do you get that content? What kind of feeds are you using?
I suggest you stick with 3 colors! I would use: Black, White, Red I would remove the ads from the right hand side and make the left navigation wider. I would also make your top links 'Blocks' so you can click on the whole box. I would also get a better banner for the site! Hope that helps!

i dont like the design.. need some colour plays, dont make visitor boring.. you made news site, so use theme like cnn.com the only way to get much visitors is how much quality in your news and design.. my rating : 6.5/10
