    Hey people,

I am just struggling to use the Domain GoDaddy. I have already heard that there is very difficult to use GoDaddy but it is the best domain site over the world.

What i need is, i just tried for the google email application, so i tried for that and i have to activate something in the domain site. So i tried to access it but there is no option is there that mentioned in the google application.

Google has described it very clearly, but still i can't able to do it properly, i expect someone can help me out !!!

    Regards
    Erhythm

I use name.com and I'm totally happy with it.
You can easily navigate around on the site, everything is streamlined and simple to use.
If you can't find what you want, they got an excellent support.

I'm not sure why you're finding GoDaddy hard to use, it's widely used.

No. Moniker or eurodns is very easy, but lots of others.
GD is very confusy and most complicated I ever saw, but when you learn is probably the best.
Other funny thing is that we pay gd to watch ads, and the biggest NO-NO to GD is that it is DAMN SLOW! I already thought to change registar just cos of that. Moniker would open at least 10 pages while waiting gd to open one.

What's so hard about it? When you register a domain, just scroll down to the "No thanks" link to bypass all of their sales crap.

godaddy is sluggish and full of sales tactics every step thru the checkout process. Those are my only complaints.

I have tried to register a domain on GD few days ago, and give up after a dozen of sell offers.

I Wouldn't Say Godaddy is the best in the world, they're the only domain/hosting company that i know advertises via television, so i think thats why its got so much of a reputation.

Agreed with full heart. On top of that, does anyone find GoDaddy is a little too slow, especially when you're logged into their secured server. Nevertheless, the company remain as the largest domain registrant. Hmmm...

Did you expected they say: "It's very slow and confusing"?

Yep if its on TV then it must be good.

I can't say much about Godaddy becuase they require a debit card that has a mastercard or visa logo on it with using paypal so I could never buy anything form them. I guess there loss?
But what I seen it did look complicated, and I remember there Retrieve password was a bit backwards and ****ed up and I had to make another account. Nothing something you want if you have tons of domains in your account. Would be nightmare to get yoru account back..

I use www.namecheap.com. There very easy to use interface.

Some others I've been using for a year

Lots of people, myself included, enjoy using a very well respected registrar that's well known in domaining circles - Dynadot.com http://www.Dynadot.com

Compared to GD you'll find the navigation and overall interface of the entire website an absolute doddle to use, everything is intuitively designed and laid out, especially if you have a sight problem.

GD I agree totally is far too cluttered and takes no consideration for many of their users who may have poor eyesight etc, so much information, all too small, it makes navigating around their interface extremely difficult I imagine for many people.

Dynadot by comparison, you'll find a real breeze to use, in fact they are as different as chalk and cheese, GD the old fashioned dinosaur, Dynadot the sleek, well designed and perfectly user friendly, domain registrar.

When I'm using web interface and registering or updating my domains I really don't care if they advertise on tv or not. For GD we can say they are biggest, cheapest or richest but sure not the fastest and practical solution.
