I'm sorry if this was asked before; I did a search and couldn’t find any similar questions asked.

How long does Paypal usually take to respond after the requested information is sent when your account gets limited for a violation?

What happen to me: My internet connection was connected through proxy setting; I total forgot to change it before logging into my Paypal account to make a payment. Of course my account ended up getting limited.

I sent them the information they requested to verify my address. I can't make payment, and I have someone that did some work for me to pay, plus I need my Paypal account to be working as soon as possible in order to receive payment.

I was thinking, if this is going to take a while, should I create another Paypal account using a different ip address for the time being until my account situation is resolved?

When my account got limited, i sent in the requested information and within 48 hours my account was back in good standing. This is my own experience but i will suggest if you have not heard from them after 48 hours you should contact them. Good Luck

    maybe because of cookies..

but as you said ... creating another account may again MARKED AS LIMITED.

each person can create only 2 pp ( personal or Premier / business)

Well from what I gather, using proxy to access Paypal is a no, no.

About creating a new account: I guess I got worried because I've heard so many stories of people who Paypal decline their request to have their account reinstated.

It's kind of hard though, I have to put my online money making on hold until I hear from Paypal. I'm expecting the best but I'm just not allowing anymore funds to go to my account until it's resovled.
