Google is not reading my site description.

When my blog comes up in the Google SERPS, instead of having my site description showing under my site title like normal pages, there is an excerpt from my most recent blog post. I'm sure that it's the way that the Google bot is crawling my page, but for SEO purposes, this won't cut it.

I'm using the All in One SEO plug-in, but how do I move things around so Google shows my site descrip in the SERPS? Sorry for the newbie question, I haven't been using Wordpress very long. Thanks.

    Hay christian231,

where is the content of the description in your description tag of your website TourGolfBlog.com. It shows as <meta name="description" content="" />

First put some content in it, wait for next crawl and if then also the problem is there ask the experts of DP.

    Google can't read blank content...

See now I thought that by using the All in one SEO plugin that on the settings for that plugin it lets you put your site title, description and keywords. I assumed that it automatically inserted it into the description tag...guess not. I will manually put it in. Wordpress...it's great, but takes some getting used to. Thanks for the heads up on that.

You should place a description tag. I am a blogspot user and i don't know how to modify it in wordpress. But in blogspot, you only add a code.
