How does Social Book Marking helps SEO

    Hi all,
    Just wanted to know how does social book marking helps SEO. I have done in 100s of social networking sites but i can't see that in google seach.
    I do not understand how is that helping me and my site.
    Please advice.

    Benefits of Social bookmarking helps increase your traffic while some of the social sites also post dofollow link from your website. But be careful of what you are doing, it might get you spam.

    submitting to Sb sites is the easiest way to get your new site/page indexed in google. also, if you submit to dofollow SB sites, you will get backlinks. depends on where you submit, you might get some traffic as well

    Agreed as above, in my experience. They help pages get indexed in 5-8 hours and provide a backlink. I use socialmarker and just submit to the dofollow's. ;)

    1. The new links will be indexed really fast.
    2. Some incoming links will be added, but those are not important because they are on top only for a few days and then they drop in rankings.
    3. The real SEO benefit is that they can generate backlinks from blogs and other sites, ONLY IF THE READERS FIND THE PAGES ADDED TO SOCIAL BOOKMAKING SITES USEFUL.

    It's all about links. Links that have relevant anchor text, links that get used, links that point to relevant content.

    Social bookmarking doesn't add any help in regards to SEO. But they are very helpful in boosting traffic to your site. :D They are also use for fast indexing of sites.
