My forum is spammed

    Please help. I am running a invision power board on my site ausfuhrung.com

    I tried various measures however there are constant fake registerations on my site.

    its not easy to stop these.
    use manual approval of new users.

    Try to block the IPs, or don't let to post or reply to new users for 2 days, for example.

    IP Ban won't stop the spamming right away, but it'll prevent them from posting agagin.
    You find it under "management"; "word and ban filters"; "manage ban filters"

    IP address ban is the best way to stop spamming, otherwise you can disable new user registrations in a day.

    You could block sites which are sending you spam registrations or use a better Security Code Confirmation

    do you have links in the registraion email where new users have to click on before being allowed to post in your forum? this might help too
