EPN or Pepperjam for BANS?

    Hey guys,

I cant say I have been that happy with EPN. I have been getting a heap more clicks (using Adwords) that I ever did when I was using CJ, and I still have not had one commissions.

I just seems a bit funny to me.

I heard that PepperJam is now an affiliate for Ebay, and I was wondering what everyone thought of them for BANS sites. Also is it easy to integrated? Do you have to download anything more for BANS?

    no one has any opinions?

I finally got a small commission from EPN, still not at the level I had come to expect from CJ though.

yes it is easy to integrate, you just download an update from bans and then upload to your server, takes about 2 mins.

I have'nt been doing well with epn either. join the club :(

so I have converted one store to pepperjam couple of days ago. so far no sales but only 2 days in, their reporting seems really good as far as imp and clicks go so we will have to wait and see. i worked on the principle that there is nothing to lose and you can bet pepperjam will be going all out to try and get it right.

    richkid,

We are not an affiliate of eBay - Pepperjam Network is an affiliate network - eBay approached us and launched a program on our network.

We have had extraordinary success with the eBay program on Pepperjam Network since its launch a few weeks ago.

We are getting incredible feedback that people are finding our tracking and customer service are top notch.

If you'd like to give eBay on PJN a try simply apply through my signature below.

We look forward to working with you.

    Hello KBJ,

I've been getting bad results via EPN, and am keen to move on over to PJ. But i suspect you guys don't support australia? is that right?

anteck - we do not support eBay Australia. However, we do allow Australian affiliates into Pepperjam Network.

You should join - we expect to add eBay's international programs in due time.

I have been communicating (if you can call it that) with Jarrod and Steve Hartman from the ePN program. PepperJam could do us all a favor and HELP ePN with their tracking, cookies and bot filtering.

Growing pains... ya gotta love em.

Is that the only other network eBay's in right now? Just their independent stuff and PJN?

Cylai I read your blog post and most points are valid. However the reason people are plugging Pepperjam is not to make $10 off Ebay. Turns out they have a whole lot of other Advertisers. And I don't sell my soul to plug the program. It's a good program. People should join if they have sites that fit the demographics of the Pepperjam network publishers.

I would agree that at this point it makes a lot more sense to go direct with Ebay. And yes I do own and use BANS.

All is not evil! This is a business afterall. And at this point I have no complaints or reason to complain about the Ethics or methods of the pepperjam network.

So I am happy to make that $10 from PepperJam referrals. Even put the link right on my home page.

I think pepperjam will make for a good EPN alternative once they sort out int traffic, but untill thats sorted it won't be an option for most of us.

I am looking at PJ for ePN because it offers a layer of insulation from the insanity that is coming from ePN these days.

I also read the blog post and I can tell you that ePN is loosing plenty of tracking data on their own. Hopefully PJ is on a different tracking system.

However, I cannot get approval for the ePN program through PJ. I have called and written and I am still waiting on approval.

I PM'ed him and he told me that ePN approval is outside of the PJ staff control. That is totally in opposition to what Mandy told me when I called. She said that PJ was putting more people on the ePN project to process applications.

Looks like PJ is in the same boat as ePN when it comes to one hand not knowing what the other is doing.

Hmm...some bad changes definitely happened. I know many international guys were accepted into PJ in hope to be accepted in EPN, that was main reason.
