Germany will most likely take the lead in the response to Russia in Poland along with the Britts and French. The US will be split fighting a war on 4 fronts probably allowing South Korea to fall moving it's troops stationed in South Korea back to Japan in the hopes of preventing an attack from Korea on Japan. Most concerned about stopping the closest threat that is moving toward it's own border. Not sure which way China will fall on this though, they're truly the wild card here. Pakistan's new government will be convinced by Iran to attack India to try and prevent them from aiding the US and Israel in the middle east. Only question is, will it go nuclear? I expect it will. How long before this happens? Maybe sooner than later if the price of oil continues to fall hurting Russia's economy. Putin is putting these things in motion for a reason, he knows that Russia can never be a super power again without the Ukraine and he know that there's only one way to get it back. We still want to call Russia a democracy but everyone knows that's not the case. If anything they are moving towards fascism. It's a good thing Germany is making U boats again and is back to making the best tanks and fighters in the world because I suspect they'll be needing them. And everyone knows the Germans have no love for the Ruskis and I'm sure they won't stand for sharring a border with them again. Of course the Britts have some pretty good toys to bring to the party like the challenger tank and some decent aircraft of their own. The French... well they can carry supplies from the rear, we all know they surrender at the first sign of combat. Seriously though we know the Russians have been rebuilding their military. The boom in oil over the last few years has put a little money back in their pockets and I suspect the majority of it has gone to military spending. The majority of equipment used in Georgia was all brand new stuff. I say stock up and be ready regardless of where you live, this time war will come to every continent. And it will come sooner than later. If you can afford it a good AR15 will cost around a grand, if not you can get Romanian AK-47's on the internet for about $300. Last I checked a thousand rounds of 7.62x39's will run about $300. Both the AR and the AK can pretty easily be converted to fully automatic with a little work on the receiver. For you guys that live in countries where you're not allowed to have guns, what were you thinking letting your government take away that right?
hehe, this is the plan that US spreads all over the world. In reality, theres no difference if you place it in Poland or Ukraine or Finland, the missiles are always targetted at the "possible" enemy, even if you dont place this "shield". Thats the basics of strategic weapons. End of story.
Ok, but we don't need offensive missles in Poland, the Ukraine, or Finland. We have the ability to hit Russian with missles from right here at home any time we want. I promise you the US has no shortage of ICBM's that could wipe Russia off the map. Missle defense is exactly that, missle defense. Putin doesn't want a missle defense in Europe because it deminishes his ability to push people around and threaten them. END OF STORY!

We're not worried about Russia hurting us here. We're worried about Imperial Russia waging a war of aggression against it's breakaway neigbors like Poland, Ukraine, and Georgia. Given recent events, I'd say it's a justified concerned. As for saying it's for Iran instead of Russia, what's the difference? Eveyone knows Iran has been a puppet of Russia for years and still is. Russia is like the dirty smelly kid in school that nobody likes that goes around bullying other kids. Then crys like a little baby when someone bigger beats him up. We didn't beat the Soviet Union, the people enslaved by communism beat the Soviet Union. Remember how the people flooded into West Berlin once the Soviets realized they had no chance of containing the situation? They ran away from Russia for a reason, IT SUCKS! You don't ever see people trying to escape from the US do you? People are always trying to sneak in, not out! It's because we're a good country that for the most part treats it's people with respect. Not to mention a little thing called freedom. Now Putin is consolidating power and taking the country back to a police state, stripping freedom away again.
