Jesus was the prince of peace, healing the sick, making the blind see again, speading a message of love and setting an example for all to live by. These things are not conducive to islam or the man that invented it.

Given that Jesus was truly peaceful, without sin and spent his life preaching peace and love, one might ask: Why was God so angry, to send mohammad to deliver an entirely different message?

Jesus' tomb is empty, mohammad's is occupied. Muslims contend "but we believe in Jesus," but that's really about it. They do not believe he was the Son of God nor do they believe He died on the cross. Little importance is put on Jesus, except when trying to convince "non-believers" that they believe in Jesus too.

Atabani and Moq, I would like to introduce you to a wonderful website. I hope you find it useful.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matt 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many .

Matt 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

All the Muslims that I know tell me that Jesus plays a pretty central role in Islam, especially in the prophecy of the end of the world. So I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

...but I'm the guy who knows that guy who met that guy who knew Spider Man.

    Muslims call Jesus....Isa.

The muslim religion claims to be the unifying religion that is unaltered; thus asserting that all previous books have been manipulated by the 'evil one'.

    Whatever.

Muslims believe that Prophet Adam (PBUH), Ibrahim(PBUH), David(PBUH), Moses(PBUH) and Jesus(PBUH) and other Prophets that are not mentioned in the Holy Bible or Holy Quran , are all messangers of Islam and Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) is the last Prophet in this Chain. He is the one sent by God to conjugate all the religions and present to the world the ultimate faith and that is Islam!

If there is only one God then there has to be only one religion! that is the philosophy......

Hey I like the spider man too...

No, Sezerb, unfortunately, he's not. But then, he's not averse to calling a sitting U.S. Senator the same as Osama Bin Laden simply because they have similar sounding names:

Obama - Mass Murderer (or was it simply a Democrat duly elected...can't remember the difference).

In other news, ladies and gentlemen:

I don't agree with censorship, but I find it interesting that Pakistan, out of respect for its Christian minority, has banned the showing of the DaVinci Code, saying:

"Islam teaches us to respect all prophets of Allah mighty, and degradation of any prophet is tantamount to defamation of the rest," Minister for Culture Ghulam Jamal was quoted as saying by the Associated Press of Pakistan."

-It seems - hold on to your hats, I know it's almost unbelievable to conclude this - that not all muslims wear horns and drink Christian blood for breakfast.:D

There's always a few who insist on all as the common denominator before recognizing a problem. They'll denigrate their own country using "all" and "we" with frequent use, but when it comes to evil, it's all or nothing. I'm glad we didn't wait till all had polio before coming up with a vaccine.

Recognizing that terror is a bona fide problem is prudent, and wise.

Equating a United States Senator with Osama Bin Laden simply because he is of a different political persuasion (i.e., a nefarious Democrat), or has a name like Obama; or

Ignoring the good among Islamic friends and nations, when and where it exists...

-is something we all should avoid. Unless some would rather demonize all muslims, friend or foe alike, because it puts our moral universe in neat, little packages. Course, where friends exist, I'd call it a prudent policy to encourage such friendship, rather than alienate if at all possible, but hell, whaddoIknow...

Not sure what you are responding to, Gtech - was Pakistan enacting an anti-U.S., terrorist measure, by moving to censor the movie out of respect for Christian sensibilities? Your argument is....?

That sounds quite logical! Can't argue with that!

Are you lost? What does this have to do with this thread?

I've not seen any. Hence my previous comment/s.

Kind of hard for one to "demonize" that which "demonizes" itself.

    Nor I you.

If that were my argument, I would have stated such. I had no argument, but rather a simple observation of how some choose to label "all" and "our" when denigrating our country, but all as a common denominator on the other side is reserved.

    All or nothing...
