My E-Gold account has been closed or at least when I try to log in with the correct info the log in details just keep showing up,has anyone had a problem with E-Gold before?? how do i get my money out.

yea probably you lost your account to scammer/hacker. And egold is not useless, they just change policy so its harder to use it for ilegal activities. Which is good for normal users.

E-Gold has been fined after they pleaded guilty of money laundering and other charges illegal in USA. The final decision is yet to come.

Well I'm really eager to find out if they'll come back and stronger they have been. For the moment they have to comply with US lawa and KIS (Know your Customer) policy meaning they have tu request photo and address proof of each user.. This is a big step back when Liberty Reserve is located offshore and dont ask for verification.. If I'd be in E-gold owner shoes I'll do watherver it takes to win the trial with US gov, next day move all the assets offshore and do business as they did till this year
I had problem with Egold since they report my ip as "open proxy" and I was unable to login due to that. For a general user, I think security Measures of Egold is good. Still there are sites who use egold.
LOL...E-gold is not even close to dead... If you opened your account with real name then you have no problems at all... If you opened with fake info then the Feds say thank you for the donation

The people who say E-gold is dead do not have any clue about reality. Ofcourse the Americans and Europeans now are trying to take the gold trading down. The economies are collapsing and there is a "GOLD RUN". Many investors are fleeing to gold and the governments are trying to avoid the collapse of the entire western market when everyone takes away his money and invests it into gold and other metals.
Yes, keep it. Do NOT fall for the trick. America wants you to believe gold is useless, but infact it is the only thing on earth with real monetary value. FIAT money (dollars/ euros) are collapsing, they are both dropping like hell. Forex traders are currently making TOP profits because the FIAT's are collapsing. What I recommend to all of you is to build a reserve in gold / silver, or else you need to transform your money immediately to a foreign currency wich is BACKED by a gold standard. These currencies for example could be the Austrian or the Norwegian coins.
