(posting in programming section because its particularly a question for programmers) well iam not saying DP is bad.. registering here was one of the best thing happened to me on the internet.. but since there is alot of competition here coding jobs have gone cheap as much as $5- $10 for fixing scripts.. Can somebody suggest a forum (not some type of bidding eg, getafreelancer) where there are hell lot of clients as compared to professional programmers? and building ecommerce isnt as cheap as $70-$80
http://www.getafreelancer.com/ There are good jobs, then there are bad ones. Of course there is alot of compition, but that's expected in any professional setting.
Try freelance sites like rentacoder.com. Even those sites, it is pretty much competitive. Try to build your experience and portfolio first to help you. Peace,
Well in that case I believe what your looking for is to actually get a real job. I know several programming agencys looking for professional programmers. If that doesn't suit you then your looking for a dreamland where Clients are abound and stupid- stupid in that they don't shop around- they choose the first person to reply to their thread even if it isn't professional or cost effective! Ah, such a dreamland would be nice, wouldn't it? We could all be millionaires. . . . >.> See bidding systems allows the client to get a feel for his options, to get the bet price. In the client's eyes the bidding system works best for him. That's why they are so common and widely used. You will rarely find larger more high priced projects on regular forums like DP. Build up your portfolio or start local.
