    Oh they're smelling it :D

I've noticed a shift in all the conservatives trying to "tone things down" lately. I think part of that is the bannings. But perhaps they are starting to slowly realize the potential that Barack may just win this thing. And if he does and things start to get better they are screwed in 2012.

Republicans are better politicians than Democrats. Simply counting how many (R) presidents we've had over the past few decades vs (D) is clear proof of that. But that doesn't mean they're better leaders. Looks like it's time for Dems to go in and clean up this mess as the president hides in the White House counting down the days so he can pass this mess off to somebody else. That's what happens when you elect a moron to the highest office in the world then sit back and expect great things..... Now you're asking the American people to make the same mistake again? 3rd from the bottom McCain?

They like to jump up and down and say well the Dems have had the majority in congress for going on 2 years now. Unfortunately for them the American people are far too informed these days thanks to the internet and a 24 hour news cycle. So when they point at that all they're doing pointing a big red arrow at some simple math. 6 years vs 2 years...... Not rocket science.

Not to mention the Dems have not had a fillibuster proof (60 member) majority and a Republican president still in the executive branch. Not exactly a position of absolute power to affect change when you lift the fog of rhetoric eh? The whole bailout fiasco was in-your-face proof that they still need the Republicans to pass anything of true consequence.

I think everyone has been thinking for at least a month if not more that Obama will win. Electing Obama to the White House will put another moron in office. Quite amusing top say the least. The Dems have had the majority in congress for going on 2 years now and have done nothing but dig the US in a hole. The bailout was a complete joke and I hope that some members will be investigated Enron style.

Republicans have sabotaged every attempt made to improve the situation by the democrats in the last two years. As a matter of fact bush was forced to change dumbfeld. It is not unreasonable to think that bush was prevented from starting another war. and these two things alone makes them a success. I am so thankful that he did not succeed in privatizing the SS. And i love the Europeans for not letting Georgia in NATO. If you compare Mccain and Obama you can easily see Obama is snarter. Mccain supporters live in an alternate reality, Where smart is bad and stupid good.

You are joking right? You do realize that the Democrats have been running the show the last two years, right? Eek....

i stand by everything that i said. read it again if you have to. if it was not for the democrats , dumbfeld would still be in charge and god knows how many Americans would have died because of the bush/chaney stupidity.

I did read it again. 3 times actually. I respectfully disagree. I'm too busy laughing to re-read it yet again.

If silly imagery or false claims is all you have I really do not know how else to respond other than to roll my eyes, laugh, or show a look of concern towards your opinion.

Nothing ironic here. Just look at voting records on both sides. Then come back and start laying blame.;)

it is better than having silly ideas and false representation of trying to blame the democrats all the time. we can recognize the amount of roadblocks and diversions that the pugs have engaged in the last two years trying to derail the democratic agenda in the congress. The images are in line with pugs point of view and their debate strategy.

I'm not blaming one of the other. I am pointing out the obvious, which is that democrats have had a hand in the economic downturn as it concerns the housing market. To deny that is to deny that the earth is round.

We disagree. Can we leave it at that?

And it's really not even a secret, except that the media is not going to cover any complicity of the democrats wreckless involvement in perhaps the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, UNTIL after the election. I can't imagine why!

I've stated several example here and in several other treads. Instead, I am continually attacked, baited and libeled (not by you btw).

I would suggest starting here: www.ofheo.gov and reading a study called "Report of the Special Examination of Fannie Mae"

Google the "Community Redevelopment Act". The bulk of this problem starts with the CRA and continues into the Clinton Admin as it is expanded, and ends up making a lot of Obama campaign members very rich, and leaves others out of money, jobs and homes.

No, I cannot see 100% of the blame in one direction or the other, but I can certainly point out a pattern of abuse and irresponsible behavior by one particular party that has stretched over several decades.

    here you go.
Bush explains to you how he is planning to destroy the US housing market.
he states in this video. watch the whole thing and see how he did it. He talks about everything that has caused the mortgage crisis
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNqQx7sjoS8
all the problems started by miscalculations on part of the administration housing policy.

    No? Srsly? :D

You tried to point at the Democrats being "in power" for the past 2 years. Which is a farse in it's own right when you look at facts.

But to top it off you brought it up almost right on cue just after I said
But hey let's not call it irony. Call it a coincidence ;)
