Taking long time to get an adsense account

    Hello,

    I have applied for adsense about 10 days back. And some 5 days back i got a reply from them for prooving the ownership of my website. As said in the mail, i have put the code that they told in my site. But still i didnt get any reply from them.

    Usually how many days it takes? Well, is this normal ?

    Usually it takes a week time to approve the publishers but i think ur some serious case.
    Can you specify the site for which you have applied for adsense.

    Well they gave me a link to a form in which i should enter the url of my website (exact location to where the code is pasted) - but in that textbox - i couldn't able to enter the correct url (i think there is character restriction like about 15 chars or so )- so what i did is pasted it in my homepage so that it will take only about 15 or so chars.

    Now it take a while. The old days are gone when you could get an account in 24 hours

    Man it has been a month but didn't got any mail regarding the account confirmation. Reason--I belong to INDIA am i correct?
