Organization.Me this domain is on sedo auction, it is going for huge bargain. http://www.sedo.com/auction/auction_detail.php?language=e&auction_id=43430&tracked=&partnerid=14460 a great bargain for this one of the premium .me domains.
Just when I thought I had come through the worst of my .ME addiction... I registered another one! juxtapose.me Definition of the word juxtapose (750,000 Google results) is "to place close together or side by side" so I think it has great potential for a dating site
Wow, this thread has 56 pages. Didn't read all the pages of course. I tried to register f**k.me and other similar p0rn domain names which I would have put on sale after. Also, insure.me, heal.me etc... All of them were snatched before my eyes. I was hoping to get my hands on at least 1.
I am going to try .me now and chech if i can have something... How is it going to be in terms of SEO?
every domainer and marketing person on earth wanted to register that one, because it's an instant retirement waiting to happen, if you managed to get it. Like everything else, rich people got first dibs and registered all of those great domain names before the public got a shot at it.
I know. But it was well worth the try. I also think it would be interesting to check the registrar info of some of these domains. Maybe people working at H0stGat0r or other places snatched some before they went public.
I was wondering about that - especially employees at Godaddy...I'm sure they have some kind of power to do that for themselves.
For themselves or for there friends... I paid Godaddy $100 to be included in the landrush auction for this awesome domain, then a few days later (12 June) I received an error email from Godaddy saying that the domain could not be registered because it had already been registered, but they would evaluate the error and retry the registration if appropriate. I thought that it may have been held back as a premium domain, but when I checked the list of premium names it was not there.. I thought it must just be a bug and I would still get to bid on it at auction, I left it at that... When the landrush registration period had finished, the domains that only had one person register interest in, were awarded to that person (I got plaster.me). I remembered about this other domain.. I did a whois on it, and found out it had actually been registered 2 days after I got the error email from Godaddy.. So I guess that means that everybody that had paid for the right to bid on this name, were all knocked of the list with an error, and one person was either left on the list or allowed/able to get back on the list, and that person ended up owning the domain without having to go to auction What a coincidence... the new owner of this domain lives just down the road from Godaddy's office Oh well.. least they refunded my money. Cheers James
I'm seeing that there are still a lot of decent generic 2-word .me's still available. I have to start controlling my spending, I buy domains like women buy shoes
You mean u will buy and use a domain once and never see it again ? [] just kidding. Any hints on these "lot of decent generic 2-word .me's still available" ? Thanks, ASHISH T.
that's part of it, actually...I drop domains ALL the time, after I spend a year thinking about how it really wound up being worthless, and something I'll never build a site for
Me is the new member of ccTLD family. Individuals can express themselves freely on the internet space. Use the domain with .me for your own Web site, blog, photo album, or anything else to share with your family and friends all over the world. I like this domain name.
