I got an email today from google saying my account info has been changed. I thought that was strange since I never did.

When I logged in to check, it appears my "Payee Information" was changed to someone in Vietnam???

No I cant change it back to Canada.

    Please help!

something strange... I don't think Adsense allow change of country.. as far as I know...if at all someone wants to shift from one to another country they have to apply for a new adsense account (after properly closing the old one)

coming back...it seems your account is not hacked since you are still able to log-into it. I would suggest you should mail to adsense support right away detailing the issue.

Agreed, always contact Google first, then post in forums.

Really its strange and i think so no one can help you out in this matter as you are the only one who can log in to your account .. Try contacting adsense support and change your password and account information for google too

Are you sure you logged into GOOGLE? Maybe it could be an issue of phishing?

How can anyone here help you? All you can do is contact google directly.

If someone got ahold of my passwords I would be on the telephone getting things fixed.

Tell me you didn't click on a link from that email to log in. If that's the case then they probably hadn't hacked your account, but they probably have now.
    Email google ASAP

Seems like a bad email you got.... if you replied to it or clicked on any links and entered your info... it's probably done now.

I would email GOOGLE (Not reply to that email) and let them know about the situation asap.

Well if they hacked your account, most of the time they would change the information and steal it all. The first thing you should do is change your password to something harder. After that change all the information that was changed back to the correct one. If your information won't change just report it to the support team and they will help you.

I suspect this is exactly what this is. I get these messages, and I haven't even USED Adwords yet...ever. This is an attempt to phish your Adwords account. These messages often end up in your spam folder, but not always. Simply ignore them. Anything you need to know you can find out by going to your Google account and logging in and taking a look.

Double check, is the mail really from Google? Is there any link to login with Google Account ?

If there's a link, check the URL at the address bar before you enter information. Better go to Gmail directly by typing it in addressbar and access your account from there. Then check your settings and other stuffs. Don't go to access from links in email.

Hope all these helps to keep yourself safe from phishing.
