how to get PR5

    I am trying to get a PR5 at least in the next google ranking ... what should i do apart from the free submissions ???

    In my opinion i would say a few PR6 links or PR7 links would do the trick for you. But yeah you need to maintain nice content so as to retain the PR.

    LOL, he is asking the experts if you did not notice, DP is full of them


    Great advice unlike the previous posters

    Free directory submissions, won't help much because link will go on PR0 pages
    at best, try paid links or blog commenting on PR pages
    (I am not suggesting spamming them) or you could try some social bookmarkings (but those don't get PR easily either)

    It is purely depends on getting back links from high page rank websites and also good traffic to our website.

    I also have got good response from directory submitting. I got PR2 from zero just from general directories (about 150 links). Not bad considering saturation of this method.

    Blog commenting.

    Low number of outbound links on your website.

    If you want high PR you need thousands of lower PR links (PR3, PR4) or quite a few PR5,PR6,PR7 links. I would personally stop chasing PR and focus on SERPs. My niche directory has PR5 but quite low SERPs - so i couldn't care less about the PR.

    Don't bother much about PR. A lot of people believe that only one PR6 backlink would be sufficient for you to get a PR5 if the page has no other outbound links. :)

    So get some PR6+ links and you should get a PR5 in next update. I have never got above PR3 just by directory submissions.

    Exactly mike, PR is just mind game goin on, I know SERPS are affected by pr, but not as much as all people thinks, what to do with pr when you have bounce rate of 70%-80%??

    I stronlgy belive that chasing serp is important then pr.

    I know but it can affect the marketing options available plus if its in a really competitive niche then he/she may really have their work cut out for them.

    Plus what has raheel done so far apart from free dir subs?

    PR5 is not easy to get by all means. Noboday can gurantee that since chasing PR can put your site in danger due to the Google penalty.
