Hello. Say I have created a web site that contains content for Iphone. Now I want to give domain name to the site. It might be www.ihandy.com or www.iphone.com . Because content theoritically will be same (iphone content) propaly same ads will be shown on two domains. Although the same, does those ads might create different earnings when clicked because of the domain name differencies? I mean does domain name have an effect on earnings as title or keywords in the content does?

    Thanks

Adsense displays relevant ads based on the domain url, article, url, keywords on the article so it is a better idea to have a domain that is relevant to the topic and your ads will be more accurate, for example in the site Buy Sponsored Links most of the time ads about buying links will appear, even if the article is about something else.

    Hopes this helps!

I would say that ads reflect the domain 80% of the times.

    I personally experienced it.

    Peace,

Domain name will have significant impact initially and less as you add more content and the page is indexed. That said, it's a good idea to have relevant domain name so that newly created pages (not indexed yet) will have relevant ads right off the bat.

Thanks for the all replies. I want to ask another related question. Say the domain name is http://soccer.com and the generally the site tells about soccer. Then the author created an iphone page to demonstrate the iphone itself in that soccer site. Would ads placed in that iphone page be iphone related or soccer related?
