    S/He has to have excellent writing capabilities.
    Have to provide articles within quick turnaround time.

    Well, then cough up at least a minimum acceptable wage newbie!
    1/2 cent a word gets you basic rewrites only - quality original work BEGINS at 1 cent per word and grows from there.

    Your rate isn't even acceptable for bad writing. If you want professional, native English writing you rate needs to improve by a minimum of 150%.

    A previous poster is right - $0.01 is the minimum an acceptable writer will charge - you need to offer more than this to get good writers.

    Let us know when you are willing to pay for what you require.

    Such a rate should not be accepted by any writer as it may lower down our value in long term.
