How to register wordpress domain...and hosting as well

Hello DP members,

I would like to know how to register as well as host a wordpress domain. How to configure it. Any suggestions please....

A normal domain with wordpress.org's offering on it ?

Register it from any registrar- GoDaddy, Namecheap, name.com, Dynadot are examples.

Manually install it or choose hosting with fantastico ( which provides for one click installation)- Hostgator, Asmallorange, Hostmonster, Lunarpages, Dreamhost are examples of hosts/

 

This is newbie question. I'm newbie too, so I understand with your question.
A a newbie, you can try to use free hosting site at first to learn how it works.
Go to 000webhost or other free hosting site that found on google.
After registering, go to cpanel --> fantastico de luxe --> wordpress, then install wordpress.

 

Do you already have an site on wordpress e.g. somesite.wordpress.com?

 

No...Actually i for got the exact process..suppose i have registered a website and hosted as well. Then how can i take wordpress features...

If you mean themes and plugins, simply upload them using your favourite FTP program, and activate them from within your control panel.
