Google ads only showing 2008 us elections*** I just started a website last week and its only displaying 2008 us elections as ads. Why is this?
The only reasons are lack of content, multiple topic content. Try to add a 100 words mini article to somwhere on your page and refresh at least 10 times adsense crawler will be on your site.
Google Adsense shows the Ads as per your content.If you have very less articles and less content then it is diffcult to understant to google bote to display the ads.Add some more content of your own interst which will helpful to other readers.
i think for the key word "united states" it is displaying US elections 2008 ,just block/filter the advertiser of that ad and see
Try different content. This will surely change and may be your keywords are on US elections..do check your tags also.
It was working at one point, but i restored everything on FTP. Now its only showing google service ads. I checked the keywords and i change my content to 100 words an article.. I went to my ad sense and used the preview tool to block certain ads. No ad showed up, so i couldnt block the ads. no luck Warz.biz
There is something fishy about that google election 2008 page. Although that page is not non commercial still ads for it are served as public service ads. And now after alot of questioning and finger raising, that election 20d08 page is deleted. The destination page of that ad is now deleted. But that ad is still served on many sites. Funny. We can expect Google to take down that election 2008 PSA campaign soon.
