I have a website for cricket lovers. Now the PR is 3 for that website. One guy approached me how much I offer to place advertisement in my website. Can anybody tell me how much I can charge him?

Id say $25 a month is fair. But always start high.

Nobody can tell you how much to charge unless you give all the info.

aaron what are you basing that $25 on? Its short sighted to give a price on PR/traffic alone. Is that a header banner, a text link stuffed in the footer?

You need to price it based on what type of advertisement it is.

An in-content link is worth more than a footer link.

A dofollow link is worth more than a nofollow link.

A link that you allow someone to spam keywords in is worth more than one you don't... etc

Based it on the info give, mainly traffic and niche and the fact that someone contacted him, meaning they want it.

    START HIGH!

My advice? Advertise on local market. For example; get a local Indian restaurant to buy adspace. They pay Good! Trust me.

I could offer my expertise actually on how you could advertise - shoot me a PM if interested.

    No charge, of coarse :)

$25 is good, but you want to work more with your site design
